Valentines Mansion is open to the public on Sundays and Mondays, 10:30am to 4pm, free entry, throughout the year. With additional Open Days during the school holidays.
If visiting the house , stop by the Gardener’s Cottage Café set within the mansion’s walled garden. The café is open 10am to 3:45pm every day, all year round.
Also, view the Dry Garden – officially opened by Her Majesty The Queen on 29 March 2012 and the first major piece of planting in Valentines park since the Rose Garden laid out by Sarah Ingleby in the 1870s.
Tube Gants Hill Underground Station (Central Line). 5 minutes walk.
Rail Ilford National Rail, direct line from Liverpool Street Station.
Bus Take bus to stop ‘Valentines Mansion and Park’.
Cycle Cycle to the mansion through Valentines Park. Cycle racks are provided at the mansion.
Road Easily accessible from the A406 (junction for A12) and the M25 (junction 27 for M11, and follow on to the A406 East). Car parking is available at the mansion.

Designated car parking spaces are provided for disabled badge holders.
The Mansion is wheelchair accessible and has level access throughout and a lift to all floors. Width restrictions apply to larger electric wheelchairs.
Due to the age of the building, please note that the floors may be uneven in some areas.
